Detailed Description
Cinofix 200mg Tablet DT is an antibiotic, used for treating bacterial infections. It is used by those who are suffering from infections caused by certain kinds of bacteria that do not respond to other type of antibiotic.
Cefixime binds to penicillin-binding proteins and inhibits the final transpeptidation step of peptidoglycan synthesis in the bacterial cell wall, thus inhibiting biosynthesis and arresting cell wall assembly resulting in bacterial lysis. This makes weaknesses, which results in bacteria bursting and dying (bactericidal effect).
It is usually recommended or used in combination with other medications for respiratory infections: bronchitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media (ear infection), and pneumonia; – genitourinary infections: urethritis and gonorrhea; – abdominal infections: peritonitis; – skin bacterial infections when the causative agent is susceptible Staphylococcus aureus,. Haemophilus influenzae, Escherichia coli.
Administered one to two times daily for 5-14 days. May take with or without food; may consider completing full course even if symptoms resolve earlier, to reduce likelihood of resistance.
Like all other members of the class, it is a part of antibiotic that targets only bacterial cell walls. Cinofix 200mg Tablet DT does this by specifically inhibiting the synthesis of cell walls in bacteria. Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets.

Cinofix 200mg Tablet DT Quick Tips
Complete Full Course: Duration of therapy should be determined by the type and severity of infection and the clinical response of the patient, not by laboratory tests or X-ray or other screening procedures. Ending treatment too soon lets the bacteria survive and eventually develop resistance.
Regular Intervals: It works best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level.
Water is Vital: Stay hydrated to help kidneys and avoid crystal formation in urine.
Allergy Alert: Discontinue use if a rash, swelling of the lips or difficulty in breathing develops. Seek urgent medical care.
Probiotics are Useful: Try some yoghurt or probiotic supplements after and during the course so that healthy gut bacteria can be replenished which will prevent any diarrhoea.
